My Review:
Dark humor and entertaining plot / Just add popcorn
Phillip is a master manipulator and he has been at it for awhile, but when his girlfriend and former wives band together to plot their revenge, he is in for a heavy dose of his own medicine! Really? They did what to him? Oh no they didn’t….oh yes, they did!
This was super entertaining and lets just say Phillip (who was quite the evil narcissist ) wasn’t a sympathetic character at all. In fact, I can’t think of any redeeming qualities for him. The character we all love to hate .
As the women plot his demise, Phillip proves to be more dangerous than ever. He has his own plan and doesn’t like to lose. Someone is getting ready to face the music. Who will it be?
I’m not going to lie, this is a crazy and quite ludicrous ride, but such fun. Beware of Phillip!
I read this one with my book bestie. Check out her awesome review here….
Book Description:
Originally titled Sticks and Stones
A wickedly dark debut thriller about three women who’ve all been involved with the same man and realize the one thing they have in common is that they all want revenge against him…
Divorces are often messy, and Imogen’s is no exception. Phillip Rochester is controlling, abusive, and determined to make things as difficult as possible. When he shows up without warning demanding that Imogen move out of their house by the end of the month or he’ll sue for sole custody of their young son, Imogen is ready to snap.
In a moment of madness, Imogen does something unthinkable–something that puts her in control for the first time in years. She’s desperate to protect her son and to claim authority over her own life.
But she wasn’t expecting both Phillip’s ex-wife and new girlfriend to get tangled up in her plans. These three very different women–and unlikely allies–reluctantly team up to take revenge against a man who has wronged them all.

Wonderful review Holly! This is one of those books that had me wondering why I was enjoying it so much because it was so ludicrous, but I really did love it.
