What I plan on reading this week…
I’m still reading Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson (hardback/and audio) and really enjoying the setting of the boarding school in Vermont and the two timelines (past and present). Remind you of another one set in Vermont? This is a slower read for me and I’m am taking my time and enjoying it. Also reading The Nutshell by Ian McEwan (buddy read). Also on my list is The New Neighbors by Simon Lelic.

The last two are Book of the Month picks. I just joined and super excited to read both of these (having cover crushes as well).

Can you tell me more about The New Neighbours by Simon Lelic? I loved The House by him and have searched but cannot find any info on this one .. thank you in advance!

That is so good to hear! This will be my first by him. It is set to be published on April 10 ,2018 by Berkley. It is marketed as a mystery/thriller. Let me know if you need a link!

I loved The Family Next Door! I want to read more of Sally Hepworth now! The Book of the Month is great, but I didn’t pick anything this month, lol. I don’t know why, but none of those appealed to me, so I’ll wait to see what you think about them and maybe I’ll try them next month!

I’ll look forward to your review on Truly Devious! That was one I was really looking forward to, but was in a bit of a mood when I got it from the library and just read one chapter before it expired. I recently realized it’s the start of a series, so I may wait awhile to pick it up again – but I definitely do want to pick it up again.

I’m enjoying it Stephanie. I like the dual story line and all the clues, but I’m doing a slower read between my review copies.

I just checked again and I can’t request it. Berkley must not want me to have a copy for some reason. They’ve denied all of my requests. 🤷🏽♀️
