What I plan on reading this week…
I’ve started The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris and The Birthday Girl by Sue Fortin. So far, I am enjoying both of them. I also plan to read This Fallen Prey by Kelley Armstrong (the third installment of the Casey Duncan series) and The Judge’s Wife by Ann O’Loughlin. These are all review copies.
What I finished this week…
What I bought/received/downloaded this week…
I can’t believe February is around the corner! This year is zooming by and I am excited about all the new books I’m seeing! I’ve been trying to add more historical fiction and some lighter reads to break up my mystery/thriller addiction. Any suggestions?
For historial fiction, if you’re into Tudor stuff, I’d say Alison Weir. And I heartily recommend Gill Paul’s The Secret Wife and Another Woman’s Husband. 🙂

I absolutely love the Tudors! I watched the series about Henry VIII on Netflix and have read several books on his wives. I’ll check these two out.

The Tattooist is an amazing story that will stay with you. I can thoroughly recommend the Clara Vine series by Jane Thynne set in 1930s Berlin.

I’ve seen Baby Teeth around and I’m a bit worried because it’s starting to get some hype. Either I read it soon or I’ll leave it till the hype lies down :-). Happy reading to you this week!

Same Inge! I’m feeling it is more of a “horror” bad seed type story. I read that she was inspired by Stephen King. I’ve seen much hype as well. The author has a truly inspiring story. If interested it is here….https://zojestage.blogspot.com/

I’m going to have to get a copy of the Tatooist of Auschwitz. I know I’ll enjoy it! I have baby teeth but I’m not starting it till summer since it’s a summer release. I need to read my other arc’s first lol. I hope it’s not just a hyped book. I may have found my 1st ever DNF if it’s too bad!! Enjoy all your books!!
