#Book Review: Buried Secrets by T. J. Brearton @BreartonTJ @bookouture

Brett and Emily Larson are happily married and living in their country side dream home. Emily is enjoying country life and wants to plant a garden. Brett is happy to oblige and begins digging on their property and finds human remains. Brett becomes kind of a investigator himself and begins to uncover secrets that have been buried along with the bones!

I loved the beginning of the book and the build-up to the highly intense plot involving the couple. The second half of the book was action packed and quite the ride. In fact, the action was so intense at one point that I had to slow down so I didn’t miss anything! It was a lot to keep track of and at moments I felt like I was watching all this action from afar.

I enjoyed this fast-paced crime thriller. It was laced with plenty of action and suspense! I was hooked from the beginning and liked the well thought out plot. I did predict the ending, but there was a twist that I didn’t see coming.  If you like books with plenty of action with some clues sprinkled along so you can be the investigator too, then this is for you!

Thanks to Netgalley/Bookouture for the arc

    • Yes, I was surprised by some of them! It does have a lot of action in it. It reminded me of Dean Koontz last book The Silent Corner. I enjoyed the characters and the action!
